The 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (hereinafter referred to as the "CIFTIS"), themed with "Towards Digital Future and Service Driven Development" this year, will be held at the China National Convention Center and the Shougang Industrial Park from Sept 2 to Sept 7. The Section of Financial Services, one of the 8 thematic sections of the 2021 CIFTIS, themed with "Green Beijing, Open Finance", is scheduled to be kicked off at Shougang Industrial Park, Beijing during the session. The Section of Financial Services will be made up of "1+1+1+N", namely, "one CIFTIS section", "a series of carnival events", "one BTV Fortune Channel live broadcast", and "N forums and summits".
The Section covers an area of more than 17,000 square meters, where the exhibition areas for Headquarters Finance, International Finance, Construction of "Two Zones", Digital Finance, Scientific and Technological Innovation Finance, Green Finance, Wealth Management and Comprehensive Financial Services will be set up.
Carnival events are a highlight of this CIFTIS, mainly including digital currency shopping festival, digital finance show, AI advisor experience, finance + culture brainstorming, famous financial master forum, financial risk education and publicity week for Beijing citizens and other theme events.

It is particularly noteworthy that the digital currency shopping festival will also work with the Digital Currency Institute of the People's Bank of China to jointly create an immersive experience of digital currency payment, and set up a digital currency avenue on the site to introduce products such as fad diets, popular food on the Internet, folk customs in the suburbs of Beijing and Beijing time-honored brands, where consumers can experience the convenience of purchasing services with digital currency.
The series of events of the Section of Financial Services of this CIFTIS will be live broadcast via BTV Fortune Channel in the whole process. On the occasion, experts, scholars and exhibitor representatives will be invited to the studio to talk about opening-up of the financial industry, construction of "two zones", green finance and digital finance. And these important reports will be broadcasted simultaneously through BTV Fortune Channel, Tik Tok, btime.com, TouTiao, Sina Weibo, iQIYI and other new media platforms.
During the exhibition, the Section of Financial Services will, centering on hotspots and frontier topics in the financial sector, hold a series of forums and summits including China International Finance Annual Forum 2021, China International Financial Technology Forum 2021, China Capital Market Summit Forum 2021, 2021 Global PE Forum, Sino-Foreign Financial Institutions Talk -- FIN-TALK and 2021 China Credit Summit Forum, and invite leaders of financial management authorities, representatives of financial institutions, industry experts and senior scholars to attend such forums and summits, in the hope of building the Section of Financial Services into a platform for release and interpretation of policies by the national financial regulatory authorities, for exchanges and cooperation among domestic and international financial institutions, for release of China's financial think tank information, and for China's financial industry to voice out.

During this CIFTIS, the Section of Financial Services will also be held online to create an efficient and convenient experience for exhibitors to arrange exhibitions without going anywhere else and visitors to see the exhibitions whenever and wherever possible. This year, the online exhibition area has strengthened the effect of virtual visual experience through integrating 2D exhibition stands with 3D ones, presenting online audience an immersive visual experience. Meanwhile, an online investor education exhibition area will be provided for the first time to further popularize the knowledge about preventing financial risks and illegal fund-raising, and strengthen the education of the investors.
Also, this CIFTIS will, based on the most popular live streaming and short video culture at present, work with third-party live streaming platforms like Tik Tok, Kuaishou and Weibo to create a new media matrix. During the Section, an online exhibition viewing and interaction platform for employees of financial institutions and visitors across China to achieve distributed and divergent communication effects.
Moreover, the Section will also organize activities such as major cooperative project signing, new product release and achievement release in the financial industry, to bolster the precise docking, promote cooperation and accelerate the materialization of the activity results.
